Skateboard Design and Business Program (SKDB)
The SKDB program was first offered and taught by Nadé in the spring of 2017 at PACE@PCVS. Due to the programs success in re-engaging students Nadé is teaching a 2nd SKDB program, a fall/winter session.
Units and lessons create a variety of cross-curricular learning opportunities where students gain hands-on design and production experience: woodworking, drawing, digital design, and participation in on and off-site workshops with community mentors, entrepreneurs and businesses. Each student gains an understanding of employment, as both an employer and employee, from a business and entrepreneurial perspective.
